Frequently Asked Questions

Why doesn't the extension work after enabling?

Ensure permissions were granted when prompted. Fully close and reopen Safari, then confirm at least one preset is enabled in the app.

Why are some features locked?

The app uses a free + Lifetime Premium model. Features like unlimited presets, Quick Modes, Profiles, and Smart Suggestions require Premium ($2.99 one-time).

Can I use this with other Safari extensions?

Yes. Open Links in Apps can run alongside other extensions, though aggressive content blockers may interfere with some redirect chains.

How do I add a site to exceptions?

Open the app, go to the Per Site tab, tap +, and add the domain (for example: example.com). Links from that domain will no longer be redirected.

Why are some redirects not working?

Some sites rely on JavaScript-only navigation or complex redirect chains that Safari extensions cannot intercept. Check the in-app logs for details.

Is any data sent outside my device?

Core redirect processing is local. Crash diagnostic data may be shared depending on your Settings. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I report bugs or request features?

Send details to [email protected] . Include your iOS/macOS version and steps to reproduce when reporting bugs.
